Vega
API Reference

Organizations

List the organizations your key can read, and load each one's satellites and ground stations.

All paths are relative to https://admin.vega.space/api/v1/frontend.

GET /organization_requests/approved_organizations

List the organizations your user has been approved for. Every user is a member of the Demo Org, so this is never empty.

Response

Use id as :organization_id in every other call. An organization your user is not approved for answers 404, exactly like one that does not exist.

GET /organizations/:organization_id/workspace

The organization's satellites and ground stations.

Response

FieldDescription
organizationid, name, country, organization_type, satellites_count, demo
satellites[]id, name, norad, status, bands, orbital_class, altitude_km, inclination_deg, tle_epoch
ground_stations[]id, name, location, status, lat, lng
access_levelread or write for your user on this organization

Satellite id and ground station id are the values the forecasting endpoints take as satellite_id and ground_station_id.

GET /organizations/:organization_id/ground_stations

Ground stations only, same fields as in the workspace.

Creating, editing, and deleting ground stations, and editing satellite details, need write access. API keys are read-only, so those calls return 403. Make the change in the app instead.
